I turned it off too soon. If you saw this, I’d love to hear what you thought and what you think now.

I thought it was jaw-droppingly awesome! Sure, it’s a worship song, intended to be sung to God, and not necessarily in an “evangelism” environment, but still, how many people heard that song that never would have otherwise?
The Ben Stiller follow-up was horribly poor timing. Whoever decided that rant should end the night or be a part of the show at all is an idiot.
Very well done. Loved it
I heard this song from another room and thought the wife had changed the channel to TBN!
OK, a few things: Did you like the song? (I personally thought it was a good vocal performance of the song) The Ben Stiller thing I thought was in poor taste, I don’t know who though that was a good idea, but it wasn’t. Even if the finaly song wasn’t a song that is often used as a tool for worship and it was just another really powerful, emotional and moving song, following it with bleeped out f-bombs was just a bad a idea and was not funny. Whichever writer put that in and the person that approved it should have their position re-filled this week due strictly to a poor performance. Sometimes risks just blow up, and that did.
I did hear another version of the song that actually has “Jesus” in the lyrics, interesting…
They sang the song again at the results show the following night. It all sounded good. I was surprised they performed a blatant Christian/Godly song, but there have been tons of contestants who try out with religious songs, even later in the competition if they have free choice. I thought it was good. I liked them all wearing white, but the pyrotechnics were overdone.
I think the song sounded great. I didn’t watch it, but got several phone calls afterwards and this is the first I’ve seen it - it gave me goose bumps! I didn’t watch it long enough to see the “Ben bad comments” but it is a shame they chose to do that.
